We made it through another school year! Let’s take time to reflect on how the PTA year went.

In August we provided a catered welcome back lunch for the teachers, handed out samples of Jump In! magazine during back to school night as well as passing out samples of our fall fundraising frozen foods, gave a welcome gift to kindergarteners and their parents and hosted our first ice cream social and karaoke membership drive. In September we held our fall fundraiser, had our 1st general meeting, provided support and food for the school’s Grandparents Day program and held our 1st fun Olympics membership drive. In October we held our Reflections art program, participated in the school’s country fair and participated in Red Ribbon Week. In November we held our Barnes and Noble reading night, hosted our 1st book fair, held our 1st Bingo night of the year, held out 2nd general meeting of the year and provided the teachers with a luncheon.

In June we took a  5th grade group picture and printed up enough for each

We also purchased 110 new headphones for all the computers, purchased support supplies for teacher lounge, purchased shelf and necessities for the women’s teacher restroom, helped pay for student field trips, gifted each teacher $50 to help support classroom, support Student of the Month, support Honor Roll, purchased testing incentives and snacks for during testing week, gifted $2000 to school music program and purchased supplies to help support the Meet the Masters Art program.
We are also working very hard to have the shade cover over the quad area installed very soon.
